Gauge Reducing Polyethylene (Elite-GRP)
Elite has developed a grade of gauge reducing polyethylene (GRP) used for single ply bag applications. By engineering the correct blend of newly developed resins these films provide the tensile, tear and puncture of thicker films while maintaining clarity and seal-ability. This results in both a material reduction and cost savings. Elite-GRP film comes in a variety of colors and can be made to match COF, clarity, and other key characteristics.
EET-055: Gauge Reducing LLDPE
Store Drop Off Polyethylene (Elite-SDO)
Elite offers polyethylene film grades that are certified as store drop (recycle ready) off films by the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. Your polyethylene bags can be immediately certified and stamped with the corresponding How2Recycle icon once an EET-SDO film is used.
EET-050: Store Drop Off LLDPE
Biodegradable Polyethylene (Elite-BIOD)
Elite biodegradable polyethylene film is blended to decompose in aerobic or anaerobic environments. Over time, this film will degrade into natural eliments such as CH4 (methane), CO2 (carbon dioxide), biomass (green waste) and, H2O (water). Integrating this film into your package structure will not force you to compromise machine performance or sacrifice shelf stability.
